Pre-Tartan Day Hootenanny with Special guests from Scotland

At the Scots American Club in Kearny, an incredibly special evening is about to happen. As a NYC Pre-Tartan Day celebration, this Thursday, April 13th. Two exciting performers over from Scotland as part of Tartan Day / Week, will be performing at the Scots. The Laurettes and Hunter & McMustard. Doors at 6, show kicks off upstairs at 7pm. A donation of $20 gets you in! Both of our duos that are coming are we prominent in the Scottish music industry for big festivals and gigs and regularly played on BBC Scotland/working with BBC programmes!. Let’s give them a great Kearny Scots welcome and have a great time. The Laurettes are an up-and-coming Scottish band made up of all female musicians and have been described as a ‘Powerful Indie Folk Fusion band with a Celtic Rock twist.’ The girls are an energetic all female band making big noise around Scotland, the UK. Hunter & McMustard write lowlander contemporary alternative folk and roll with bluegrass, rockabilly, country, folk and comedy influences.
