ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman (AKA “DaBu”) started Choir! Choir! Choir! as a weekly drop-in singing event in February 2011. Equal parts singing, comedy, and community-building, the night unfolds like a dream: you get a lyric sheet at the door and DaBu teach you the vocal arrangement. Everyone has a ball and goes home feeling great!
Toronto-based Choir! Choir! Choir! is led by creative directors DaBu. The duo takes a non-traditional approach; there are no auditions, and the audience is the choir. Just show up and they’ll teach you an original arrangement to a song you love. Choir! Choir! Choir! has amassed a dedicated and passionate community of singers and a thriving international fan base on YouTube. The group has performed with renowned artists such as Patti Smith, Tegan and Sara, David Byrne, Rick Astley, and Rufus Wainwright, and onstage at New York’s Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall with the likes of Debbie Harry and The Flaming Lips. Choir! Choir! Choir! exists to celebrate music and push the boundaries between practice and performance, artist and audience, offering therapeutic benefits with the ultimate side effect: a powerful community.
ABOUT THE VENUE
Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and saved from destruction by concerned citizens, the William J. Brennan Courthouse housed the county courts and offices until 1966, when it was abandoned and left to crumble. After a complete restoration the building was reopened in 1985 and now houses the county’s civil courts. Today, the courthouse has regained its former glory and often showcases local arts and music in its beautiful rotunda.

FREE PARKING is available directly next to the Courthouse after 6PM. Parking available on first come first serve basis until full. The Journal Square PATH station is a short walk away.
