Located right off of Garfield Avenue Light Rail Station, Light Rail Cafe is the ultimate family-oriented neighborhood bar/restaurant. Jermaine Robinson, born and raised in Jersey City, has always demonstrated a passion for serving the residents of Jersey City.
In 2006, he began a four-year journey of renovating what was once known as “The Corner Pocket” and transforming it into the premier bar/restaurant, “Light Rail Cafe”. As a result of his diligence and dedication he has provided employment opportunities for local residents, established a safe environment for surrounding neighbors, and has become a beacon of hope for one of Jersey City’s rapidly changing areas.
