LaGuardia Airport was established in 1929 and began operating as a public airport in 1939. It is named after former New York City mayor Fiorello La Guardia. The airport primarily accommodates airline service to domestic (and limited international) destinations. As of 2019, it was the third-busiest airport in the New York metropolitan area behind JFK and Newark airports

-LaGuardia Airport offers three flight terminals, Terminal A, which serves Spirit and Frontier Airlines, Terminal B which serves American and JetBlue Airlines, and Terminal C which serves Delta and WestJet Airlines
