Eat & Shop Local | North Bergen

North Bergen’s Eat & Shop Local event continues this weekend from 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 through 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20. Bergenline Avenue will be closed to traffic from 76th Street to 82nd Street and turned into a pedestrian mall to allow for restaurants to expand into the street and offer fine dining with safe social distancing.
Mayor Nicholas Sacco, the Township Commissioners, and Freeholder Anthony Vainieri invite everyone to come out and enjoy a delicious meal at our outstanding restaurants and support our local businesses that were hard-hit by the pandemic.
Participating restaurants include Alfaro’s Restaurant, Los Andes Bakery, Asian Fusion, Café Per Tutti, Las Chicas Bakery, Chicken Delight, Gilbertos Restaurant, Harry’s Food and Drink, La Kausa, Mi Tierra Café, Morazan Restaurant, Platter King, Rico Rico Restaurant, Sweets and Cortaditos Bakery & Care, Tapas De España, Trattoria La Sorrentina, and Trova Cuban Café.
All patrons should remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing when possible.
