JC Light-Up Ride to the Bayonne Bridge!

Light-Up Ride is this Friday, Sept. 13, gathering at 6:30 at Grove PATH Plaza, and rolling out at 7:00. Be ready to ride by then!
This month we’re headed south to the Bayonne Bridge, and we’ll climb to the top of the span and enjoy the view.
This ride will be longer than some of our Light-Up Rides, about 20 miles. It will also include climbing the separated bike/walk path on the Bayonne Bridge to the top (middle) of the span, a somewhat challenging climb if you’re on a heavy cruiser bike or other styles not built for speed.
But don’t worry! We will be there a while, so you can walk your bike all or part of the way up if you need to, and we will take time to catch our breath at the top (and say hi to friends old and new).
And you don’t have to climb up at all if you don’t want to: Last time a bunch of folks waited in a little grassy space at the bottom and kept the music going.
Slow, 8–9 mph average speed at the front. Free, all welcome! (But see the note at the top.)
