Synopsis:
Our heroine, the Jersey City singer-songwriter Giselle, looks forward to presenting an intimate show of original pop songs to an audience of music lovers. When suddenly, the ghost of her eccentric idol, Florence Foster Jenkins, and her dancing messengers, appear to upturn all of Giselle’s plans. Taking her, and the audience, on a whirlwind of musical and visual experiences, transforming Giselle into a new version of herself.
We are excited to present the “Florence Foster Jenkins Schubertiade Review” a one-of-a-kind musical show. Jersey City’s Giselle Bellas has curated a multi-media musical composition featuring a variety of musical genres, including opera, cabaret, and pop. The show features 20 artists, including a troupe of dancers, live band, a cast of talented performers, singers, and actors.
