The “Battle of the Block House”, also known as the “Battle of Bull’s Ferry”, took place on the heights of the Palisades, a half mile south of Bull’s Ferry, in the Township of North Bergen, during the Revolutionary War. In honor of the 239th Anniversary, Patrick R. Cullen will be discussing the battle from the perspective of his book, “1780 Battle of the Block House of North Bergen, New Jersey.”
