Welcome Santa, Lighting of the Town Tree, Enjoy Free Events and Activities
HO! HO! HO! Save the date because it’s almost time to kick off the holiday season and celebrate at the Annual Kearny KUEZ Tree Lighting Festival,
At 5:30 the festival begins with a Hometown Concert on the steps of Town Hall.
At 6:30 p.m. Santa arrives to help Mayor Alberto G. Santos, along with members of the Town Council light the Kearny Holiday Tree.
BRING YOUR CAMERAS FOR PHOTOS WITH SANTA!
The festivities then move immediately to Town Hall Park. Santa, joined by Mrs. Claus and their elves, will be on hand for children (12 and under) to visit until 8:30 p.m. Free events and activities last until 8:30 p.m. These include Face Painting, a Magic Show, Balloon Making, Holiday Crafts, Photo Stations, Santa’s Sled, Costumed Characters as well as the popular Jingle Bell Stage this year featuring lots of fun, contests, prizes and of course, Frosty the Snowman!
