The first Rumba Cubana opened its doors in June of 2009. Rumba Cubana’s founders Alan & Nairelys Lopez were yearning to recreate and share the lost flavor of home. The business plan was very straightforward – they just wanted high quality food, large portions, incomparable service and an exceptional atmosphere at an unbeatable price. Hence, the birth of the first Rumba Cubana, which was located on 75th & Broadway in North Bergen, which years later got relocated to a beautiful building overlooking New York City right on Boulevard East, Guttenberg.
